Yes.
AnesthesiaFile Basic users can go to the “Activities” page while logged in and in the module toggle the “Application View” button to Print View. Press the “Print Activity Content” button for a web-based printable view of the module.

AnesthesiaFile Pro/Premium users can go to the “Activities” page while logged in and press the “Download” button for their digital pdf version of AnesthesiaFile subscription. This is a complete “magazine” style full-color look with Table of Contents, each abstract, and the post-test questions and answer choices. (See sample here.)

  • AnesthesiaFile Basic are archived abstracts and the topics covered could be detailing information and techniques already in practice.
  • AnesthesiaFile Pro users also access a downloadable PDF of each month’s content. (See sample here.)
  • AnesthesiaFile Premium users have all the same access as “Pro” tier plus access to audio versions (APOD) of each anesthesia abstract. (See details of APOD below.)

When you purchase AnesthesiaFile Premium, you will automatically gain access to the abstract recordings. To access these recordings, you must login to your AnesthesiaFile account and click “Start Activity” for the desired issue. The recordings will be located at the top of each corresponding abstract and the site also provides a download option. Audio can be streamed as individual tracks of each abstract or as a month-long release of all 30 abstracts online. Please note that a post-test and evaluation will still have to be completed online to obtain credit.

Dannemiller reports credits directly to AANA and ABA when participant’s valid number is included on his/her profile. Any credits earned during a month will be submitted at the beginning of the following month. (i.e. Credits earned in December 2018 were reported on January 2, 2019.) Once submitted, your credits should appear on your AANA/ABA account no later than the 10th of each month.

For AnesthesiaFile Basic Users: Dannemiller has determined that every 3 modules completed in AFile Basic qualifies for 1.00 pharmacology credit. Please visit the “Contact Us” page or call 1-800-328-2308 M-F 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CT for a qualification letter.

The issue you are experiencing could be related to the internet browser you are using. Internet Explorer and older versions of Safari do not update or refresh as well as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox. Since the browser does not update, it will not display your completed modules immediately.

A passing score of 80% is required on our post-tests, which you will take after viewing each module. Once you have passed a test, it becomes locked. After taking the post-test, the evaluation button will show up to be completed. You must complete both the post-test and evaluation before receiving your certificate.
